Q: How do i purchase the latest version or generation of the tablet and e-Book reader from Gadget 4 Sale?
A: Gadget 4 Sale tablet and e-Book reader are all latest version/ generation. We do not keep any old generation devices such as Kindle basic genaration 1 or Kindle Paperwhite generation 1, 2 & 3, etc.
Q: Which e-Book reader is worth to purchase?
A: All devices from Kindle are worthy to buy. It depends on your needs and budget.
For budget savings, Kindle (kindle basic) or Kindle Paperwhite is recommended.
For more feature, we recommend a Kindle Oasis.
Q: Which tablet is worth to purchase?
A: It depends on your needs and budget. For lower budget, we recommend our consumer to look for Fire HD 8 which come with the latest specifications.
Q: I do not see Fire 7, Fire 7 Kids and Kindle Scribe in your store, can i still buy it?
A: Yes. You can still purchase from us. You just need to request it from us through Shopee chat platform anytime. The reason we do not put it up is because not much order for this version.
Q: How to purchase/ order a Kindle, Fire tablet or Grip6?
A: You can purchase/ order through our contact page or visit our online store at Shopee. By going through Shopee store, it will give you more benefits in terms of trust and security especially through payment and delivery tracking.
Q: Why should i buy at Shopee?
A: Shopee is one of the largest online stores in Malaysia and they provide a higher end benefits in terms of security. This is to benefit the buyer who make payment via credit card and to make sure the delivery reach safely with delivery tracker.
Q: How long will it take for the pre-order device?
A: All pre-order device will take about 3 weeks. Customer will be notified if the device require a longer period/ time via chatting application, text message (SMS) or email.
Q: How do I differentiate a tablet and e-Book reader?
A: A tablet are known as a mobile computer with larger screen, touch screen which include Fire HD 8, Fire HD 10 and Fire HD Kids Edition. An e-Book reader come with smaller screen size where reading is the main priority, such as Kindle, Kindle Kids Edition, Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition and Kindle Oasis.
Q: Can Gadget 4 Sale help me to jailbreak/ root my device after i purchase it?
A: No. Gadget 4 Sale will not have the authority to open consumer device and we do not recommend our consumer to jailbreak/ root their device. Once the device has been jailbreak/ root, the one year warranty will be void.
Q: How do i make a payment on the item i bought?
A: Payment can be made via cash or bank transfer. Please refer to our terms and condition.
If you prefer to pay by credit card, we do recommend you go to our store at Shopee because it provide a higher end security for our customer.
Q: How long it takes for the device to reach to me?
A: You can get your device after we receive your order. Consumer will be giving a notice of 3 weeks (around 20 days) or more if the device is out of stock and of course we will inform you once the device is ready.
For courier procedure, customer will receive the courier number notification from us after we send it through to the courier services company. This is to let our customer know and prepare to get their device on the next day.
Q: What i need to do if my device is not working once i have unboxed it?
A: Any defects, consumer can return the device to us if it is still under warranty.
Please note that Liquid Damage or Human Made Damage is not under the warranty coverage.
Q: How to activate and register my device?
A: There is a manual found in the device itself once you switch on your device.
Q: After purchase has been made, do i get any receipt from Gadget 4 Sale?
A: Yes. Only upon request.
Q: Do I need to be a Kindle Unlimited member to read on a Kindle?
A: No. You do not need a Kindle Unlimited membership to read on a Kindle. All Kindle devices come with instant access to the world’s best eBook store. Kindle Stores worldwide offer millions of titles, including the latest best sellers.
Q: How do I setup this Kindle?
A: You have the option to set up Kindle on the device following its on-screen instructions or with your Kindle app on your phone. When setting up using the phone, just open the Kindle app and enable Simple Setup in settings before you power on your Kindle. If you opted in to link Kindle to your Amazon account for simplified setup at purchase, it will already be registered to you.
Q: What i need to do if my device got problem after a week or a month?
A: Any problem with your device, suggested our consumer to call Gadget 4 Sale for a check out before we send back to the manufacturer. But please make sure that your device are still under warranty.
Note: There will be no warranty offered after the device purchase more than one year OR if the device been jailbreak/ root OR Liquid Damage and Human Made Damage.
Q: How long it takes for replacement issue?
A: 3 weeks or longer. It is up to the problem face by the device. Consumer will be contact by email, text and call.
Q: Is there a casing and screen protector provided in the purchase?
A: No. But we do sell Kindle case and screen protector separately. Case and screen protector are all upon request.
Q: Are Kindle Touch & Kindle Keyboard still available?
A: No. Both Kindle Touch and Kindle Keyboard has been discontinued by Amazon and it has been replace with the new Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Oasis.
Q: Is all the tablet and e-Book reader a waterproof?
A: No. All tablet which is Fire HD 8, Fire Kids Edition and Fire HD 10 is not waterproof.
A: At the moment, only Kindle Oasis and Kindle Paperwhite is waterproof. The other Kindle which is not mentioned above is not waterproof.
Q: What types of books can I write in?
A: No. You cannot write any books on all the Kindle except Kindle Scribe. To keep pages clean and uncluttered, only enable sticky notes and not writing directly on the page. You can add sticky notes on supported books to take handwritten notes with your Pen (only for Kindle Scribe).
Note: You can create handwritten sticky notes in millions of Kindle eBooks. Kindle Scribe does not support handwritten sticky notes on manga, comics, graphic novels, magazines, or newspapers, though they are still available for download and look beautiful on the 10.2” 300 ppi display. Look for supported features, by eBook, under “Product Details” section of the eBook you wish to purchase.
Q: What writing tools can I use on Kindle Scribe?
A: Kindle Scribe offers pen, highlighter, and eraser tools with 5 thickness options each. You can use these tools in sticky notes, notebooks, and on PDFs imported via Send to Kindle. With the writing toolbar, you can also undo, redo, and erase a selection or page.
